Payroll and Pay Periods. Teachers shall be paid by direct deposit, in twenty-six (26) equal installments on alternate Fridays. If a Friday payday is a banking holiday, the deposit shall be made on the previous business day. The Treasurer may make adjustments to the 26-pay schedule to avoid overpayment over a six or seven-year period. Due to fluctuations in school start dates, the Treasurer may also make pay cycle adjustments for teachers during their first year of employment or when returning from an extended leave. Annual salary notices shall be provided as required by state law, unless negotiations have not been finalized at that time, in which case salary notices shall be provided within thirty
Payroll and Pay Periods. Paychecks will be issued in equal installments, with paydays occurring on alternate Fridays, or the last working day before Friday if it should fall on a holiday. Paychecks shall be mailed to the bargaining unit member’s designated address over the summer and holidays. Direct deposit without cost will be available to all bargaining unit members. Direct deposit will be mandatory for all bargaining unit members hired after July 1, 2007. A notice of direct deposit shall be sent to an email account that the employee selects. If an employee selects an email account other than his/her District˗issued OMERESA email account, there is no guarantee that the notice of direct deposit will be received. Yearly salary notice will be included on the first paycheck of the school year and will include notice of the gross annual salary and the step and placement column on the schedule. Compensation earned from supplemental contracts and through stipends shall be included in an employee’s regular salary paycheck.

Nothing in this Agreement shall prohibit retroactive pay approved by the City Council or required because of administrative oversight or error as determined by the City Administration. Personnel action implementing any change in status or pay shall be effective upon approval of the City Administration provided such changes are received by the Payroll Office at least ten (10) working days prior to the effective date.

  • Compensation and Payment Terms A. Subject to the satisfactory performance of the services required of Contractor pursuant to this Agreement, and to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, and following Contractor’s submission of an appropriate claim, and such other documentation that the County may require, County shall pay Contractor according to the terms set forth in Exhibit C, Terms of Payment.
