Part-Time Nurse definition
Part-Time Nurse is defined as a nurse who is regularly scheduled to 23 work less than seventy-two (72) hours per pay period but at least thirty- 24 two 32) hours per pay period.

Part-Time Nurse is used in this Agreement it shall mean a Nurse scheduled for and working 40 to 63 hours per pay period consistently throughout the course of the year. Part Time Nurses are eligible for fringe benefits under this Agreement only to the extent expressly provided for in this Agreement and subject to the Nurse satisfying all of the qualifications therefore.

Any such appeal is to be raised, in writing, with human 24 resources. Human resources and the Vice President of Patient Care will review the 25 hours reduction and determine if there was an internal adjustment that has caused the 26 reduction in hours. If it is determined that an internal adjustment caused the reduction 27 in hours, then human resources and the Vice President of Patient Care will conduct a 28 further review to determine 1) if there is a means by which some scheduled hours can 29 be reinstated to the nurse, or 2) some other adjustment needs to be made, consistent 30 with this Agreement. 31
