Other Limitations on Vacation Leave and Accumulation of Vacation Leave a) An employee shall cease accumulating vacation leave when she/he reaches a maximum amount as listed below. Other Limitations on Vacation Leave and Accumulation of Vacation Leave. (1) At any time during the year when three vacation periods are accrued, the employee will cease earning vacation until the employee has utilized vacation and his/her balance has fallen below the maximum accrual, shown below. Each time the three-year maximum accrual is reached, the employee shall stop accruing additional vacation. There will be no exceptions or waivers of the three annual vacation period accrual limit.
