Accrual Limit. Employees may accrue up to 115 hours of compensatory time after which said employee must accept overtime pay in lieu of accruing additional compensatory time.
Accrual Limit. Accrual is the total number of overtime hours converted to CTO and placed in the CTO bank during the fiscal year. A maximum annual accrual limit of one hundred sixty (160) CTO hours will be allowed. The employee will be compensated with pay for any overtime worked after the accrual limit has been reached. The General Manager, or designee, may establish a more restrictive Balance Limit when and if necessary.
Accrual Limit. Such leave may be cumulative up to and including two hundred eight (208.00 hours).
Accrual Limit. An employee will not be required to use annual leave during the year and shall also have the privilege to an unlimited accrual of annual leave. Cash-in lieu of accrued annual leave may be obtained upon written request one payroll period in advance of the time of cash- in subject to cash availability and budgetary limitations. In emergency situations the required notice shall be waived and the matter handled expediently. However, leaves for longer than sixty (60) calendar days may be taken only with the approval of the Municipality and the Association.
Accrual Limit. The maximum vacation accrual will be three hundred (300) hours. When an employee reaches the accrual of two hundred fifty (250) hours of vacation, the employee may request and the Employer shall arrange for the employee to take time off if operating requirements permit. Employees are responsible for utilizing their vacation time in a manner that does not put them at risk of exceeding the 300-hour maximum, and managers are responsible for providing employees with the opportunity to so utilize their vacation time. The Employer will provide bargaining unit employees semiannually, in October and April, with a notice advising them of the limitation on accruals and the cash out option.
Accrual Limit. Battalion Chiefs filling a Specialty Assignment on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, who work overtime as specified in Section 6.3, may accrue up to 75 hours of Contractual Overtime Leave after which said employee must accept overtime pay in lieu of accruing additional Contractual Overtime Leave.
Accrual Limit. Accrued vacation time in any instance shall not exceed 250 hours. At no time shall vacation taken exceed that which has been earned by the employee. Employee vacations are scheduled at the discretion of supervisors.
Accrual Limit. When a bargaining unit member accrues the full annual PTO credit, consistent with the chart in Section 8.2, the bargaining unit member will not accrue any additional PTO until the bargaining unit member uses part of the accrued leave. If the employee is denied time off after a timely request for time off has been made, as defined in Section 8.5 (e), and the denial of time off will result in a loss of accrual of PTO, the employer will cash out PTO in eight (8) hour increments such that the employee’s PTO will remain below the maximum limit. When some PTO is used, PTO will again begin to accrue to the bargaining unit member’s maximum annual limit only. No retroactive credit will be given for the time when accrued personal leave was at the cap.
Accrual Limit. (This Section shall replace, in its entirety, section 6.3.1 in the Miscellaneous SEIU agreement) Upon accrual of time, five (5) days or forty (40) hours of compensatory time, employees shall be paid overtime at a rate of time and one-half of their base salary rate for hours worked and may not accrue additional compensatory time.
