Organizational and Human Resource Development. Provision of technical assistance to CMM for: (i) the formulation of municipal policies and plans; (ii) the development and implementation of municipal systems; (iii) the facilitation of work processes for the improvement of staff performance; and (iv) monitoring and evaluation of municipal programs and activities. Strengthening of the technical and administrative capacities of municipal officials, and staff, through Training in, inter alia: (i) communications; (ii) planning and municipal management; (iii) municipal finance; and (iv) other technical matters related to the provision of municipal services. Rehabilitation of municipal buildings and purchase of equipment to enhance the office space for municipal staff. Design and implementation of a networked computer system for CMM. Provision of maintenance services for: (i) municipal vehicles; and (ii) for the networked computer system referred to in Part A.1(d) of the Project, including the acquisition of licenses and the provision of related technical services. Development of monitoring policies and plans, provision of Training, and communication support for municipal staff and their families living with HIV/AIDS. Financing of Operating Costs for the Project.

The parties agree that professional development includes a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to formal academic programs; short-term continuing education activities; certification programs; independent learning committee participation. The parties recognize their joint responsibility in and commitment to active participation in the area of professional development.

  • Staff Development ‌ The County and the Association agree that the County retains full authority to determine training needs, resources that can be made available, and the method of payment for training authorized by the County. Nothing in this subsection shall preclude the right of an employee to request specific training.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • Joint Development If joint development is involved, the Recipient agrees to follow the latest edition of FTA Circular 7050.1, “Federal Transit Administration Guidance on Joint Development.”

  • Business Development Company Buyer is a business development company as defined in Section 202(a)(22) of the Investment Advisors Act of 1940.

  • Employee Development The Employer may provide employees the opportunity to participate in appropriate seminars, workshops or short courses. When possible and appropriate the Employer will provide to all staff information on seminars, workshops or short courses by posting a notice on the Employer’s internal web site.
