The Board acknowledges the primary responsibility of providing an administrative structure and climate in which effective teaching and Scholarly, Research and Creative activities may take place. Obligations of the Board. Upon expiration of a sabbatical leave, a person who has complied with the conditions of the leave shall be returned to a position equivalent to that formerly occupied. A person shall be credited with teaching experience for such period of leave, and upon return he/she shall be placed on the salary schedule at such step as though he/she had been in actual service.
