Notification of Teaching Assignment. A. 1. All teachers shall be given written notice of their teaching assignment for the coming school year prior to the termination of the current year.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. A teacher under current contract with the Board shall be notified of his/her assignment for the coming school year by the last day of school, provided that both parties agree that changes in teaching assignment may be necessary after the last day of school due to changes in enrollment, scheduling or other needs of the District. Such changes will be decided by the Administration with the understanding that they will be made on a voluntary basis when possible. However, the Board will make every effort to make such changes prior to August 1 of each year.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. Regularly employed teachers shall be given written notice of tentative teaching assignments on or before July 31 of each academic year. Regularly employed teachers shall generally be given notice of an involuntary transfer or reassignment no later than June 30. Teachers who receive notice of an involuntary transfer or reassignment after June 30 shall have the right to meet with the Superintendent to discuss the new assignment. Teachers who are not satisfied with the discussion at the Superintendent's level shall have the right to appeal in writing to the Board of Education. The Board may, at its option, meet with the teacher to discuss the matter.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. The colleges shall make reasonable efforts to notify faculty members of their tentative teaching assignments no later than the time at which the initial schedule is submitted for publication. It is understood that such tentative assignments are subject to change. To the extent possible, part-time faculty shall be notified of assignments at least six (6) weeks in advance.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. All teachers will be notified of their schedule or grade level assignment for the next school year by July 15. The administration will send electronic notice of the change to the teacher (and preferably at the same time or prior to that notice by telephone or in-person conversation) within at least two administration workdays of the final decision to change the assignment.

Consecutive Class Hours Faculty members shall not be assigned, in a given workday, more than three (3) consecutive (uninterrupted) lecture or class hours, or more than two (2) lecture or class hours preceded or followed by one (1) laboratory period, or more than two (2) consecutive laboratory periods. Exceptions may be permitted in cases where a faculty member agrees. Excluded from this provision are non-teaching assignments and teaching assignments in activity classes.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. All teachers will be notified of any changes to their teaching assignment for the next school year by August 1st. Said notification shall include course names and grade. Should the Superintendent desire to transfer a teacher, a conference will be held prior to the implementation of the transfer. At this conference the teacher will be given reason(s) for said transfer. Upon the teacher’s request the reason(s) shall be placed in writing and given to the teacher. The teacher may have a representative of their choice present at such conference. In the event the transfer is not due to filling a vacancy, the transfer shall not be implemented without full due process in accordance with this Agreement and applicable federal and state laws. Notice to the PDYEA of assignment change shall be made no later than August 1st.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. By May 15, each teacher shall be given notice of his/her tentative teaching assignment (grade level for elementary school and class schedule for middle school and high school) for the next school year. Starting with the first Monday in August, each teacher shall be notified of any changes in his or her teaching assignment with a copy sent to the Association President. Notices may be in either written or electronic format.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. Section A. All employees whose subject assignments or assigned buildings are changed for the succeeding school year from their assignments in the current school year shall be given written notice of their assigned buildings and subject assignments no later than the 7th day of June. In the event that changes in assignments are made due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in conditions, all employees affected shall be notified with dispatch, and given opportunity to discuss the reassignment with the person responsible. Consideration shall be given to the preference of the employee, but the determination of the administration on the assignment or reassignment shall be deemed final and binding.
Notification of Teaching Assignment. A. All professional employees shall be notified in writing of a change in their teaching assignment on or before the last staff work day of the approved calendar year preceding the assignment, except in the circumstances identified in Section B below. Preliminary high school and middle school schedules will be provided by the last staff work day with the final schedule provided by August 1 or as soon as possible thereafter if a successor Professional Negotiations Agreement has not been finalized by June 30 in the final year of this agreement.
