Assignment Change. An assignment change is a change of an employee's assignment within the same classification, same department, and same shift, and shall not require a new probationary period. This procedure shall occur before a vacancy is posted or when no vacancy has been created, but it is necessary to reassign an employee. Temporary employees shall not be reassigned into permanent positions. Employees shall inform the Supervisor in advance of the job posting, in writing, of their desire to be considered for another assignment. Such notice must be received prior to formal posting of the vacancy by Human Resources in order to be considered for reassignment. The assignment change requests will remain in effect for a one (1) year period. The Employer shall inform employees at the time of initial hire of the assignment change procedure. The Employer shall post on the work area bulletin boards where they exist, or on department bulletin board where there are no work area boards, the assignment change procedure which follows: When an employee leaves an assignment for any reason, and the Employer determines to fill the vacated assignment, the Employer shall do the following:

Assignment Change. 28.1 When either school administration or an employee desires a change in assignment, the party desiring such a change must notify the other in writing. If the transfer of assignment is at the request of the administration, then those teachers with five (5) years or less seniority may be transferred without regard to seniority. When teachers with more than five (5) year's seniority are involved then the least senior may be transferred first. When the transfer request is at the request of the teacher, the decision will be based on sound educational reasons.
Assignment Change. Teachers who will be affected by a change in grade or subject assignment in the elementary, middle or high school must be consulted and notified by their principals or superintendent as soon as possible
Assignment Change. A worker may be assigned any duty within the worker's class specification.
Assignment Change. Any assignment change made without a bargaining unit member’s consent will be considered a reassignment and subject to the provisions of that article in this contract. Prior to June 1, each affected bargaining unit member will be notified in writing by the building principal that they are being recommended for reassignment to another building.
Assignment Change. In the event there is a change in grade assignments in the elementary or changes in subject assignment in the secondary, the principal will notify and discuss the matter with the affected employee. Changes will be voluntary to the extent possible. Assignments shall be made prior to the last day of school, except in emergency, and will be discussed in advance at a conference with the applicable department chairperson if he/she is available. The employee shall immediately be informed in writing of any changes necessitated after this time. Such "emergency" assignment changes may be effected due to changes in student enrollments, loss of revenues, closing and/or consolidation of buildings or classes, a change in educational programs or unanticipated personnel changes.
Assignment Change. Teachers will be consulted when changes in their assignment are deemed probable and will be notified regarding changes in their assignments as early as circumstances reasonably permit.
Assignment Change in Corporate Identity --------------------------------------- This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and bind the respective successors and permitted assigns of the Parties hereto, but no assignment by either Party shall be made or become effective without the prior written consent of the other Party, except that this Agreement may be assigned without such consent to an affiliate or successor of either Party, or to a person acquiring all or a controlling interest in the business assets of such Party. No assignment or transfer of rights shall relieve the assigning Party from full liability and financial responsibility for performance unless the assignee or transferee agrees in writing and the other Party has so consented in writing. If Buyer terminates its existence as a corporate entity, by merger, acquisition, sale, consolidation or otherwise, or if substantially all of Buyer's assets are transferred to another entity, without complying with this Agreement, Edison shall have the right to seek equitable relief to enjoin Buyer's successor from using the property in any manner that interferes with, impedes or restricts Edison's ability to operate its Transmission and/or Distribution Systems and Edison shall have the right to operate all or part of the Purchased Interconnection Facilities necessary to maintain its Transmission and Distribution Systems.
Assignment Change. Employees shall maintain their work site assignment unless they are scheduled 14 days in advance as per Section B or post for a permanent vacancy if one occurs.
