Nationally Consistent Services. (1) The PHO will Provide the Nationally Consistent Services described in the schedules to this Part, in accordance with this Agreement.

Nationally Consistent Services. Nationally Consistent Services subcontracted to the Contracted Provider The Contracted Provider must provide the following services to the PHO's Enrolled Population and other Eligible Persons, in accordance with the specified part and schedule of the PHO Services Agreement: First Level Services and Urgent Care Services in accordance with Part C and Schedule C1, and clause 3 of this Schedule General Medical Services in accordance with Part C and Schedule C2 Immunisation Services in accordance with Part C and Schedule C3 Substance Addiction – Medical Examinations in accordance with Part C and Schedule C4 Special Support Services for Former Sawmill Workers Exposed to PCP in accordance with Part C and Schedule C5 Health Support Services for Dioxin-Exposed People in accordance with Part C and Schedule C6. Payments for Nationally Consistent Services The PHO will pay the Contracted Provider: capitation payments and associated payments that the PHO receives from the DHB under Schedule F1.1 of the PHO Services Agreement for First Level Services including Urgent Care Services provided by the Contracted Provider to its Enrolled Population; the fees for services that the PHO receives from the DHB under Schedules F1.2 and F1.3 of the PHO Services Agreement for General Medical Services and Immunisation Services provided by the Contracted Provider; the fees for medical examinations and certificates that the PHO receives from the DHB under Schedule F1.4 of the PHO Services Agreement for Substance Addiction – Medical Examination Services provided by the Contracted Provider; and the fee that the PHO receives from the DHB under Schedules F1.5 and F1.6 of the PHO Services Agreement for Special Support Services for Former Sawmill Workers Exposed to PCP and Health Support Services for Dioxin-Exposed People provided by the Contracted Provider. The PHO will pay the capitation payments for First Level Services including Urgent Care Services that are referred to in clause 2.1(a) to the Contracted Provider no later than 2 Business Days after receiving the payments from the DHB.

SCHEDULE C1 FIRST LEVEL SERVICES AND URGENT CARE SERVICES First Level Services The PHO will Provide First Level Services to enable individuals and communities to benefit from services to: improve their health through: health promotion to the Enrolled Population, linking to public health programmes at a national, regional and local level and utilising such programmes to target specific populations; health education, counselling and information provision about how to improve health and prevent disease and interventions or treatments that treat risk factors; and intersectoral linkages and relationships to improve health; maintain their health through: ongoing health and development assessment and advice; appropriate evidence based screening, risk assessment and early detection of illness, disease and disability; use of recall and reminder systems and as appropriate referral to national programmes (including but not limited to Well Child Services, National Cervical Screening Programme and Breast Screen Aotearoa); interventions to assist people to reduce or change risky and harmful lifestyle behaviour; family planning services, provision of contraceptive advice and sexual health services; Immunisation Services; working with public health providers in the prevention and control of communicable diseases for individuals and families/whānau and reporting to relevant public health providers; and ongoing care and support for people with chronic and terminal conditions to reduce deterioration, increase independence and reduce suffering linking, if relevant, with appropriate service providers; restore their health by providing: health information to enable and assist people to care for themselves and take responsibility for their health and their family/whānau’s health; urgent medical and nursing services (including stabilisation and resuscitation, assessment and diagnosis, and treatment and referral as necessary); assessing the urgency and severity of presenting problems through history taking, examination and investigation, and diagnosing if possible; recommending and, if appropriate, undertaking treatment options and carrying out and referring for appropriate interventions and procedures, including but not l...

  • Invoicing and Payments II.4.1 Pre-financing: Where required by Article I.5.1, the Contractor shall provide a financial guarantee in the form of a bank guarantee or equivalent supplied by a bank or an authorised financial institution (guarantor) equal to the amount indicated in the same Article to cover pre-financing under the Contract. Such guarantee may be replaced by a joint and several guarantee by a third party. The guarantor shall pay to the Agency at its request an amount corresponding to payments made by it to the Contractor which have not yet been covered by equivalent work on his part. The guarantor shall stand as first-call guarantor and shall not require the Agency to have recourse against the principal debtor (the Contractor). The guarantee shall specify that it enters into force at the latest on the date on which the Contractor receives the pre-financing. The Agency shall release the guarantor from its obligations as soon as the Contractor has demonstrated that any pre-financing has been covered by equivalent work. The guarantee shall be retained until the pre-financing has been deducted from interim payments or payment of the balance to the Contractor. It shall be released the following month. The cost of providing such guarantee shall be borne by the Contractor.
