Meeting and Appeal. An involuntary transfer or reassignment shall be made only after a meeting between the teacher and the Superintendent or his designate, at which time the teacher shall be notified of the reason therefore. In the event that a teacher objects to the transfer or reassignment at this meeting, upon the request of the teacher, the Superintendent shall meet with him. The teacher may, at his option, have an Association representative present at such meeting.

The Board shall meet within thirty (30) days after the request and shall render its decision within fifteen (15) days thereafter. The teacher shall have the right to attend the hearing.

If recommended for transfer, the employee may request a meeting with the Superintendent to discuss the reasons for the transfer. The employee may have an association representative present at all meetings.

If not resolved to the administrator's satisfaction, a meeting shall be arranged between the administrator and the Board of Education upon the administrator's request.
