Manner of Collection. The CONTRACTOR shall provide Collection Service with 733 as little disturbance as possible and shall leave any Cart or Bin in an upright position at the 734 same point it was collected without obstructing alleys, roadways, driveways, sidewalks or 735 mailboxes. 736 3.11 Containers – Carts, Bins and Indoor Food Waste Pails/Containers.
Manner of Collection. In the case of on-premises service, CONTRACTOR shall remove the Recycling Cart and Used Oil and Used Oil Filter Containers from the back or side of the Service Unit (or from such other location as agreed to by CONTRACTOR and the Service Recipient), shall empty the contents into the collection vehicle, and shall return the Recycling Cart and replacement Used Oil and Used Oil Filter Containers to the location from which they were removed.

Containers must be replaced in a vertical position. If the Container falls over, the Contractor must immediately reset the Container. Any Garbage Can, Container or Recycling Container damaged by the Contractor shall be replaced by the Contractor within three (3) business days at no cost to the customer, unless otherwise provided within this Agreement. The replacement must be similar in style, material, quality and capacity and must meet the County’s requirements for Garbage Cans or Containers. Throwing of any Garbage Can, Container or Recycling Container is prohibited. The Contractor shall neatly re-place the Container, Recycling Container or Garbage Can to the point of Collection.

Contractor’s employees providing Residential Collection Service must follow the 932 regular walk for pedestrians while on private property and may not trespass nor cross property to the 933 adjoining premises unless the occupant or owner of both properties has given permission. Care should be 934 taken to prevent damage to property, including flowers, shrubs, and other plantings.

Manner of Collection. (1) After CDCR/CCHCS has determined that liquidated damages are to be assessed, CDCR/CCHCS shall notify the Contractor in writing of the reason for and amount of the assessment(s). The assessment notice shall be sent to the Contractor by certified mail, return receipt requested, or by any other method, which provides evidence of receipt. At CDCR/CCHCS’ discretion, the assessment notice may direct payment of the assessment by the Contractor. If payment is thus directed, the Contractor shall pay the assessment within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the assessment notice.

Manner of Collection. All residential collections are to be made curbside, that is, at a point no more than five (5) feet from the point at which a driveway or other main access to the premises intersects either the Village, county or state road in closest proximity to the same. The contractor is also required to collect from any private road (typically designated as a "Way") on which there are seven (7) or more residences. Due care is to be exercised by the contractor to prevent containers from being damaged. Empty containers shall be returned to the locations from which they were collected. Vehicles shall not be loaded to such an extent that the solid waste cannot be covered. Further, the spilling of the same will not be tolerated. Holiday schedules must be arranged with the Village, and in accordance with availability of the disposal site. In the event, however, that a route will be more efficient by changing collection days, the same will be permitted provided a detailed map of the proposed route change(s) is provided to the Village with this bid. Further, it is the obligation of the contractor to notify residents via the written news media as to the specific collection route proposed. With regard to route changes, the contractor shall notify individual residents and commercial enterprises of the change no later than thirty days prior to the proposed change date. Said notification must be approved by the VILLAGE prior to delivery to residents. In the event that inclement weather conditions cause certain roadways on the collection route to be impassable by the contractor’s vehicle(s), such collections may be delayed until such roadways are cleared / repaired. The contractor shall notify the Village of such conditions, and shall complete the collection of all solid waste and recyclables as soon as practicable, but not later than the Sunday following the scheduled collection date. Collection of residential solid waste and recyclables shall not be cancelled by the contractor, under any conditions, without the written consent of the Village.
