MUH will provide access to suitable facilities for such purpose, in accordance with MUH’s policy. Transfer to a safe position Where, because of an illness or risk associated with the pregnancy, an employee cannot carry out the duties of their position, MUH is obliged, as far as practicable, to provide employment in some other position that the employee is able to satisfactorily perform. A position to which an employee is transferred under these circumstances must be as close as possible in status and salary to the employee’s substantive position. The employee must provide evidence that they are fit to work in the alternative position.
