Paid break Clause Samples
A Paid Break clause establishes an employee's entitlement to take breaks during working hours without a reduction in pay. Typically, this clause specifies the duration and frequency of such breaks, such as a 15-minute paid rest period for every four hours worked, and may outline any conditions or scheduling requirements. Its core practical function is to ensure employees receive rest periods while maintaining their earnings, promoting well-being and productivity, and clarifying employer obligations regarding compensated time off during the workday.
