Illinois Prevailing Wage Act/Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act. Contractor is required to pay prevailing wage rates for any laborers, workers or mechanics performing Services under Task Orders issued pursuant to this Contract. The Department publishes the prevailing wage rates on its website at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/agency/idol/rates/rates.HTM. The Department revises the prevailing wage rates and the contractor/subcontractor has an obligation to check the Department’s web site for revisions to prevailing wage rates. For information regarding current prevailing wage rates, please refer to the Illinois Department of Labor’s website. All contractors and subcontractors rendering services under Task Orders issued pursuant to this Contract must comply with all requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. ("the Act"), including but not limited to, all wage requirements and notice and record keeping duties. In the event that a federally funded Task Order is issued, the Contractor will ensure that it and its Subcontractors comply with the applicable provisions of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (prevailing wages) Act, 40 U.S.C. sec 276, as amended, and the Xxxxxxxx (anti-kickback) Act, 18 U.S.C., sec 874, and related regulations and pay such applicable prevailing wage rates. Please refer to: xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx for wage rates and more information. Additional or more detailed requirements may be set forth in another section of this Contract (see Table of Contents). As a condition of making payment to the Contractor, the City may require the Contractor to submit an affidavit to the effect that not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate is being paid to laborers, mechanics, and other workmen employed on this Contract in accordance with Illinois or federal law, as applicable.   • Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 3141-3148). When required by Federal program legislation, all prime construction contracts in excess of $2,000 awarded by non-Federal entities must include a provision for compliance with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (40 U.S.C. 3141-3144, and 3146-3148) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5, “Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Covering Federally Financed and Assisted Construction”). In accordance with the statute, contractors must be required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. In addition, contractors must be required to pay wages not less than once a week. The non-Federal entity must place a copy of the current prevailing wage determination issued by the Department of Labor in each solicitation. The decision to award a contract or subcontract must be conditioned upon the acceptance of the wage determination. The non-Federal entity must report all suspected or reported violations to the Federal awarding agency. The contracts must also include a provision for compliance with the Xxxxxxxx “Anti-Kickback” Act (40 U.S.C. 3145), as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 3, “Contractors and Subcontractors on Public Building or Public Work Financed in Whole or in Part by Loans or Grants from the United States”). The Act provides that each contractor or Subrecipient must be prohibited from inducing, by any means, any person employed in the construction, completion, or repair of public work, to give up any part of the compensation to which he or she is otherwise entitled. The non-Federal entity must report all suspected or reported violations to the Federal awarding agency.

  • PREVAILING WAGE ACT Without limiting the scope of any other provision of this Agreement, Concessionaire agrees to comply with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, P.L. 1963, Chapter 150as codified in N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.   • Prevailing Wage Rate Applicable to Bid Submissions A copy of the applicable prevailing wage rates to be paid or provided are annexed to the Bid Documents. Bidders must submit Bids which are based upon the prevailing hourly wages, and supplements in cash or equivalent benefits (i.e., fringe benefits and any cash or non-cash compensation which are not wages, as defined by law) that equal or exceed the applicable prevailing wage rate(s) for the location where the work is to be performed. Bidders may not submit Bids based upon hourly wage rates and supplements below the applicable prevailing wage rates as established by the New York State Department of Labor. Bids that fail to comply with this requirement will be disqualified.
