Prevailing Wage Act definition

Prevailing Wage Act means the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130.
Prevailing Wage Act means the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.) of the State of Illinois, the material terms of which require all contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work on any “public works” (as therein defined) no less than the currentprevailing rate of wages” (hourly cash wages plus fringe benefits) applicable to the county where performed and to comply with all notice, recordkeeping and filing duties.
