HOLIDAYS AND ELIGIBILITY. The following days are designated as paid holidays for all bargaining unit members who meet the following requirements: an employee must work the entire last scheduled work day preceding and following the holiday in order to receive the holiday pay. This provision shall not apply to those individuals on approved vacation or sick leave.

However, an employee who works a holiday shall be eligible for holiday pay without further qualification. Holidays are Not included in the seven (7) absent days.

  • Holiday Eligibility Except as otherwise provided in this Article, an employee must be in paid status on the working day immediately preceding or succeeding the holiday to be paid for the holiday.

  • Overtime Eligibility An Employee must work at least fifteen (15) minutes beyond her normal shift before being eligible for overtime compensation.

  • Vacation Eligibility Employees shall be eligible for vacation, based on their Net Credited Service (NCS) with the Company, as follows:

  • General Eligibility 1. Except as provided in #2 below, a teacher who received an evaluation rating of ineffective or improvement necessary in the prior school year is not eligible for any salary increase and remains at their prior year salary.

  • Eligibility It will notify the Issuer and the Servicer promptly if it no longer meets the eligibility requirements in Section 5.1.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.

  • Employee Eligibility For purposes of this section, “eligible employee” shall be defined by the Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act.

  • Employee Eligibility Verification The Contractor warrants that it fully complies with all Federal and State statutes and regulations regarding the employment of aliens and others and that all its employees performing work under this Contract meet the citizenship or alien status requirement set forth in Federal statutes and regulations. The Contractor shall obtain, from all employees performing work hereunder, all verification and other documentation of employment eligibility status required by Federal or State statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, 8 U.S.C. §1324 et seq., as they currently exist and as they may be hereafter amended. The Contractor shall retain all such documentation for all covered employees for the period prescribed by the law. The Contractor shall indemnify, defend with counsel approved in writing by County, and hold harmless, the County, its agents, officers, and employees from employer sanctions and any other liability which may be assessed against the Contractor or the County or both in connection with any alleged violation of any Federal or State statutes or regulations pertaining to the eligibility for employment of any persons performing work under this Contract.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week. All non-regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees will not be eligible to receive paid leave.

  • Eligibility for Holiday Pay A. An employee must be paid for all or a portion of both the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately prior to a holiday and the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately after that holiday in order to receive holiday pay. With County approval, compensatory time earned for working on a holiday or for a holiday falling on a regularly scheduled day off may be taken on the first scheduled working day after the holiday.
