INSERVICE. 9.5.1 The District may schedule in-service training for unit members during the contract work year on designated in-service and orientation days as well as on scheduled minimum days other than the days before Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
INSERVICE. Employees hired on or before July 1, 1998, who participate in Employer- approved in-service training shall receive $5.00 per month for each 100 hours of training received, up to a maximum of 400 hours, i.e., $20.00 per month.
INSERVICE. Full inclusion staff development training shall be provided for general education classroom teachers.
INSERVICE. Within the fiscal limitation imposed by the budget, the District shall provide resources and training to develop and implement District goals and to xxxxxx instructional improvement and professional growth of all unit members. District inservice opportunities will be a major component in implementation of professional growth plans and assisting staff in meeting such new certification requirements as may be forthcoming. All attempts will be made to provide inservices during the workday.
INSERVICE. The District will provide the equivalent of at least two (2) workdays for inservice training during each year. The Association will have the opportunity for input on the subject matter of inservice. Inservices shall be employment related and should include training related to the performance in the job classification.
INSERVICE. Before June 1, the Union and the District shall mutually agree on the topics for Inservice for the following year.
INSERVICE a. After collaboration with the school-based team and the approval of the appropriate district administrative officer, teachers shall receive appropriate in-service training to assist with the educational programming of students with special needs.
INSERVICE. A. The district shall provide one half-day (1/2) of district-sponsored inservice program at the beginning of each work year. Persons on the master substitute lists at the time the inservice is provided are eligible to participate in the inservice program. Each substitute teacher who attends this one half-day (1/2) inservice, up to a maximum of two hundred (200) substitute teachers, shall be paid at the per diem rate for a half day. A committee appointed by the association may consult with the district regarding inservice programs.
INSERVICE. The Board will pay reasonable expenses incurred in connection with any courses, workshops, seminars, conference, in-service training session, or other such program which a teacher is required or requested to take by the administration. Said teacher will also be compensated for all time spent in actual attendance at said sessions at his/her regularly hourly rate.
INSERVICE. Special Education para-educators may apply for para-educator training at District expense.
