For purposes of this Section, “hour worked” shall mean each hour (whether regular time or overtime) for which wages or any type of compensation required under this Agreement is payable during such Payroll Week to any employee, as the term “employee” is defined in Article 2 hereof.
Payroll Week shall mean seven (7) eight-hour days from 7:00 a.m. on Monday to 7:00 a.m. on the following Monday.
The Payroll Week may be changed once during the term of this agreement by the Company upon giving two (2) weeks’ notice to the Union.
Section 10.1 Payroll Week The payroll week shall begin at 12:01 A.M. Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight on the following Saturday.
Overtime in the amount of one and one-half times an employee’s straight time hourly rate will be paid when hours worked are in excess of 40 hours in accordance with the Payroll Week, referenced above.

Employees shall be paid at the rate of double the straight-time hourly rate, including shift differential and split shift differential, for all hours of work performed on the seventh (7th) consecutive Payroll Day worked within the Payroll Week.
The Payroll Week for Special Shift employees shall consist of a seven (7) day period extending from midnight Sunday to midnight the following Sunday.
The Payroll Week shall be 5:00 p.m. Friday through 4:59 p.m. the following Friday.
The Employer shall, on or before the tenth day following the end of each Payroll Week, pay to Mellon Bank, or to such other corporate fiduciary as shall be from time to time mutually agreed upon by the Association and Council (any of which is hereinafter referred to as the “Depository” or “Trustee”), a sum as specified in Section 2 for each hour worked for a Savings Fund contribution.
