EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL. The parties agree to an Educational Council to confer on issues herein contained in this Agreement. Three (3) members of the Council shall be appointed by the School Committee and three (3) shall be appointed by the Union.

EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL. A. A joint Educational Council shall be established as soon as possible after the effective date of this Agreement. It shall consist of up to seven (7) administrators from the district selected by the superintendent, one of whom shall be a board member, and one teacher from each building selected by the Association. The Council shall meet at least four (4) times a year and advise the Board on such matters as school calendar, teaching hours and teaching load, class size, educational specialists, non-teaching duties, teacher employment, teacher assignment, teacher transfers, promotions, teacher evaluation, teacher facilities, professional development and educational improvement, protection of teachers, students and property, maintenance of classroom, control and discipline, personal and academic freedom, books and other instructional materials, teaching techniques, curriculum improvement, extra curricular programs, in-service programs, pupil testing and evaluation, philosophy and educational goals of the district, research and experimentation, teacher responsibilities, educational specifications for buildings and other matters regarding the effective operation of the Hillside School District.
EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL. A. A Joint Educational Council shall be established during the term of this Agreement. It shall consist of five (5) representatives - two (2) of whom shall be School Board members and three (3) of whom shall be from the administration appointed by the Superintendent; one (1) of whom shall be the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee; and five (5) Dover teachers as appointed by the Union. The Council shall meet at least three (3) times a year.

The Council shall meet at least four (4) times a year and advise the Board on such matters as school calendar, teaching hours and teaching load, class size, educational specialists, non-teaching duties, teacher employment, teacher assignment, teacher transfers, promotions, teacher evaluation, teacher facilities, professional development and educational improvement, protection of teachers, students and property, maintenance of classroom, control and discipline, personal and academic freedom, books and other instructional materials, teaching techniques, curriculum improvements, extracurricular programs, in-service programs, pupil testing and evaluation, philosophy and educational goals of the district, research and experimentation, teacher responsibilities, educational specifications for buildings, and other matters regarding the effective operation of the Phillipsburg School District.
EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL. A. The Educational Council is organized to provide a forum for the discussion of education issues and to advise and consult with the Board on these matters pertaining to the effective operation of the Xxxxxx Hills Regional School District. Topics for discussion are limited to nonnegotiable matters.

EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL. A. There shall be an Education Council composed of up to nine (9) members. The Association President and up to four (4) members which are appointed by the Association President and the Superintendent and up to three (3) members appointed by the Superintendent.

  • ADVISORY COUNCIL An Advisory Council consisting of the superintendent of each participating District, or his/her designee is hereby created. The purpose of such Advisory Council is to monitor the performance of this Agreement, amend this Agreement (with concurrence of all parties affected), and terminate this Agreement as provided in Section IX. Activities of the Advisory Council shall take place as needed, called by a majority of its members or by the Superintendent of the NWESD, or his/her designee. Decisions by the Advisory Council will be made by a vote of greater than fifty percent (50%) of a quorum. A quorum is defined as at least fifty percent (50%) of the representatives appointed to the Advisory Council. Participation may occur via technological participation, including email providing at least seven (7) calendar days prior written notice was provided to each District superintendent or designee.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT A. The Board agrees to implement the following:

  • Educational Services Any service or supply for education, training or retraining services or testing including: special education, remedial education; cognitive remediation; wilderness/outdoor treatment, therapy or adventure programs (whether or not the program is part of a Residential Treatment facility or otherwise licensed institution); job training or job hardening programs; educational services and schooling or any such related or similar program including therapeutic programs within a school setting.

  • Professional Development Plan Professional Development Plan (PDP) refers to plans developed by faculty members addressing the criteria contained in Article 22 and Appendix G.

  • Educational Program a. The educational program of the School (Section 4, Subsection 6 from the original contract and unchanged here) is as follows:

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs.
