TEACHER EMPLOYMENT. 7.1 The Board agrees to hire only those teachers who are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education for every regular teaching assignment, except this provision shall not apply in the instance where, in the opinion of the Superintendent, availability of personnel is critical and appropriate waiver is granted.
TEACHER EMPLOYMENT. A. Credit will be recognized for a maximum of four (4) years military experience or a maximum of four (4) years alternative civilian service required by the Selective Service System. Credit, not to exceed two (2) years will be recognized for Peace Corps, VISTA or National Teacher Training Corps work. No credit will be given for less than a full year of service.
TEACHER EMPLOYMENT. 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.
TEACHER EMPLOYMENT. A. Full credit will be given for complete years of previous teaching experience under contract upon initial employment, provided, however, that the Committee may hire up to five teachers annually on a lower step, but not less than at one half (1/2) credit for previous teaching experience, that is acceptable to the teacher and the administration. The Association will be notified of any such hiring.
TEACHER EMPLOYMENT. A. At the time of initial employment, each teacher shall be assigned a step on the salary scale determined by his/her previous education and experience. For this purpose, consideration may be given to previous teaching experience, military service, and other experience directly related to his/her teaching assignment.
