Computer Operator. The Computer Operator adapts to a variety of nonstandard problems, which require extensive operator intervention (e.g., frequent introduction of new programs, applications, or procedures). In response to computer output instruction or error conditions, chooses or devises a course of action from among several alternatives and alter or deviates from standard procedures if standard procedures do not provide a solution (e.g., reassigning equipment in order to work around faulty equipment or transfer channels); then refers problems. Typically, completed work is submitted to users without supervisory review. Coordinates and executes the loading of software releases. Employs and maintains the Automated Stock Number User directory (ASNUD) and Transaction History User Directory (THUD) programs. Works as the first level of review to assess and repair computer and computer peripheral equipment and coordinates repairs as required. Performs system administrator duties to ensure operational capability of SATS, MICAS, and AMCS data bases or other standard supply systems in support of the SBSS operating environment as well as ESS and Discover systems. May perform initial research Supply systems problems for submission to the Supply Systems Manager. Under the oversight of the Supply Systems Manager may perform duties as the primary scheduler and maintains all supporting documentation. Confirms the compliance of the Base Supply organization with current Information Assurance practices and procedures and will assist Government counterparts with IA issues as requested.

  • Computer Equipment No computers and/or personal electronic devices, such as tablets and laptop computers, or any component thereof, may be purchased with funds provided under this Contract, regardless of purchase price, without prior written approval of ADMINISTRATOR.   • Computer Access Where possible, providing no additional costs are incurred by the Employer, one (1) authorized representative of each Union shall be entitled to submit for posting on the Employer's electronic communication system one electronic Union notice per month for members of the bargaining unit.   • Owner-Operators Owner-operated and manned rented equipment shall in no way be used to circumvent the intentions and provisions of this Agreement. Owner-operated and manned rented equipment shall pay permit fees for all work performed in the first three (3) days in accordance with this Article. Where owner-operated equipment performs work for which he has been engaged and works beyond three (3) calendar days, he shall thereafter become an Employee and be entitled to all of the provisions of this Agreement. The Union will be notified as stipulated in Article 4:03 before an owner-operator is employed on a jobsite. Initial transportation expenses will not apply to owner-operators hired under this clause. In consideration of the special status of owner operators, each owner operator shall contribute for each hour worked to the periodic dues identified in Article 4:02 and funds as identified in Articles 13:03 and 13:04 and the Contract Administration and Industry Development Fees as identified in Article 20:00.

  • Instructions for Operators This agreement is intended to be provided to an Operator from a LEA. The Operator should fully read the agreement and is requested to complete the below areas of the agreement.
