Christmas Day or New Year's Day Off. The Employer guarantees, where possible, for those classifications that are required to work, employees will be granted either Christmas Day or New Year's Day off on a rotational basis. If the Employee is granted Christmas Day one year, the next year they will be entitled to New Year’s Day off. In the case of part-time employees, this applies to such employees that are regularly scheduled. This Article will be applied in consideration of Article 17.9. Employees will be able to exchange shifts during this time. The Employee may request to work both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day if they are regularly scheduled to work those days. The Employee shall notify the Employer, in writing, of their intent to work both days by October 1st.

  • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. Should Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day or ANZAC day fall on a weekend, the following Monday, or other day as agreed shall be taken in lieu.

A foreign citizen/foreign company may be allowed to bid for the property and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen/company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own cost to the Economic Planning Unit (if applicable) and/or relevant State Authority for the unconditional consent to the sale within the period stated in Clause 11 hereof but subject to Clause 22 hereof.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.
