Caseload/Class Load Table. For the 2021-22 school year, due to staffing complexities, the District will phase in the added para educator hours for elementary and secondary resource by the end of the first quarter of the school year. Updates will be brought to the Collaboration Team monthly. Special education class load or caseload assistance will be provided in accordance with the following table. Special education caseload counts for the purpose of determining potential caseload remedies shall be the Tuesday of the second week of October, December, February, and April. Program Caseload/Class Load Minimum Support Preschool 10 students per session 1-hour paraeducator per additional student After attempting to balance class size, should class size reach 14, support will trigger .125 FTE per half-day session that reaches the trigger, which at the district’s discretion may be posted or be paid as additional compensation.
