Bid Committee. The bid committee will consist of one eligible employee from each of the following classifications: Captain, Engineer, Paramedic, ARFF, HRT, Swift Water Rescue, Haz- Mat. Committee members will be selected by the Labor Management Committee and the Chair of the Committee will rotate through each of the classifications on an annual basis. The Chief of the SLCFD or his delegated subordinate officer may assign apparatus, resources, or personnel, as they deem appropriate for the performance of the SLCFD's mission. In an effort to provide a fair and equitable way of assigning personnel to positions within the SLCFD, a bid procedure allowing members of the SLCFD to express a preference for work assignments is instituted. Bid positions shall be based upon openings for eligible employees and all promotable positions. The Bid Committee will meet on an annual basis beginning in January of each year and on every April, July, and October thereafter. By May 1 of each year, the Bid Committee may submit, in writing, proposed rule changes to the bid procedure to the Labor Management Committee.
Bid Committee. Section A: The parties agree that there shall be a committee composed of not more than four (4) appointed by the Union and four (4) members appointed by the Superintendent. The Committee will be co-­‐Chaired by the Director of Operations/designee and the Executive Director of the Union/designee. Within twenty (20) days of the signing of this agreement, the assigned committee members agree to meet. The parties will meet to exchange views and information, address mutually advantageous ways to improve the effectiveness of the Run/Bid process.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:

  • Study Committee The parties shall utilize the Benefits Advisory Committee, with equal membership by the State and the VSEA, for the purpose of reviewing all issues related to health care and prescription drugs, and recommending changes to the bargaining committees. The parties shall also establish a special study committee to evaluate the current health plans, and make recommendations to the bargaining committees of the State and employees for sustainable savings in the health care plans.

  • Negotiation Committee (A) The Union may designate certain employees to serve on its Negotiation Committee, and such employees will be granted administrative leave to attend negotiating sessions with the state. No employee shall be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee's regular workday for any day the employee is in negotiations. The agency shall not reimburse employees for travel, meals, lodging, or any expense incurred in connection with attendance at negotiating sessions.

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall attend all meetings of the Steering Committee unless otherwise agreed by the Department.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.01 A Liaison Committee shall be established which shall meet on an informal basis at the call of any of the parties signatory hereto, to discuss matters of mutual interest pertaining to the Project and/or this Agreement, with the objective of promoting and maintaining beneficial relations and cooperation between the parties, and of ensuring the achievement of the purposes of this Agreement. The Liaison will meet at least twice per year.

  • Search Committee Where the search is to be both internal and external, when there are two or more candidates, or when the sole candidate does not receive majority endorsement of the eligible members of the Department, the Xxxx/University Librarian shall convene a search committee having the following membership:

  • Joint Steering Committee [***] following the Effective Date [***], a joint steering committee (the “JSC”) will be established by the Parties to provide oversight and to facilitate information sharing between the Parties with respect to the activities under this Agreement.

  • Executive Committee (A) The Executive Committee shall be composed of not more than nine members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.

  • Scheduling Committee (a) The parties agree to the formation of a Scheduling Committee to discuss and assist in resolving scheduling issues.
