Benefits - Continuing Temporary Employees. Salary in lieu of benefits will only apply to continuing temporary employees not in an assignment. These employees may request to waive participation in the benefits. If the employee waives benefits, they will continue to receive fifteen and one-half percent (15.5%) of salary in lieu of benefits.

  • Temporary Employees 3.3.1 A temporary employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work assignment which is not ongoing (i.e. normally 12 months or less and not extending beyond 24 months). The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).

  • Auxiliary Employees (a) An auxiliary employee shall receive a letter of appointment clearly stating their employment status and expected duration of employment.
