Association Leave Pool. An Association Leave pool will be established with ten (10) association leave days available each academic year. These leave days will be granted for Association members to attend Association events and required business activities, excluding Master Agreement bargaining days. The days will be calculated as the sick and personal days are currently, with respect to an employee being charged with (1/2) one-half or (1) full day absence. The use of association leave shall not be construed as an absence nor reduce any other leave or benefit afforded to all certificated/licensed staff members. Further, any expenses associated with attending the Spring Assembly, President’s meeting or Treasurer’s workshop shall not be the responsibility of the District.

Association Leave Pool. An employee may donate accrued annual leave in one (1) day increments to a pool for use as Association leave. Written notice of a donation must be provided to the Superintendent. Once donated, accrued leave shall not be returned to the donor. The Association leave pool may not exceed eighty (80) hours at any time and not more than eighty (80) hours may be used during any school year. The Association President shall give written notice of the use of Association leave to the Superintendent not less than forty-eight (48) hours in advance.

  • Association Leave A total of 10 days of leave with pay during the current school year shall be granted the Association for use by the Association. A maximum of four additional days may be used for Association leave and the substitute’s salary will be reimbursed to the Board by the Association. The President of the Association will notify the Superintendent as to the educators and dates involved at least five (5) days before such leave is desired.
