Education Leave definition

Education Leave means leave to participate in an education program which has a significant duration, often of thirty (30) consecutive work days or more. This education has to be of benefit to both the Employer and the Employee.
Education Leave means leave of absence “with” or “without” pay for the purposes of engaging in a course.
Education Leave. Bargaining unit RNs may be granted paid leave of absence in accordance with the policies of the UMMS for educational purposes, to attend conferences or other functions of a similar nature that are intended to improve or upgrade the individual’s skill or professional ability. The bargaining unit RN shall not suffer any loss of seniority or benefits as a result of leave.

Education Leave. The City may grant permanent employees time off with pay, during regular working hours, to participate in non-agency training/continuing education programs that are directly related to the employees work and will lead to improvement of the employee's skills and job performance. Reasonable efforts will be made to equitably distribute such training opportunities among employees.

Education Leave. An employee with one (1) or more years seniority wishing to their education by full- time attendance at a recognized college, university, trade or technical school, shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for up to one (1) year under the following conditions:
