Waste Materials definition

Waste Materials means any Contamination-causing solid, semi-solid, or liquid material discarded, buried, or otherwise present on the Property, and may include sludge, slag, or solid waste materials such as empty containers and demolition debris or materials containing asbestos, lead-based paint, or petroleum or other contaminants.
Waste Materials means any toxic or hazardous materials or substances, or solid wastes, including asbestos, buried contaminants, chemicals, flammable or explosive materials, radioactive materials, petroleum and petroleum products, and any other chemical, pollutant, contaminant, substance or waste that is regulated by any Governmental Authority under any Environmental Law.

  • Contractor has no confidentiality obligation with respect to any Waste Materials or Recyclable Materials collected pursuant to this Contract.

  • In all matters arising out of this Agreement in connection with the removal and disposal of Waste Materials including, but not limited to, the removal, transportation, storage, reclamation, treatment, recycling, or disposal of Waste Materials received by Disposer, the Disposer shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations and requirements of all governmental authorities with respect to any permits, licenses, and approvals required for performance of this Agreement.


More Definitions of Waste Materials

Waste Materials means any putrescible or nonputrescible solid, semisolid, liquid or gaseous waste of any type whatsoever, including, without limitation:
Waste Materials means: (i) any “hazardous substance” under Section 101(14) of CERCLA, 42 U.S.C. § 9601(14); (ii) any pollutant or contaminant under Section 101(33), 42 U.S.C. § 9601(33); (iii) any “solid waste” under Section 1004(27) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. § 6903(27); and (iv) any “hazardous substance” under Wis. Stat. § 292.01.
Waste Materials means any discarded, abandoned, unwanted or unrecovered material(s), except the following are not waste materi- als for the purposes of this chapter:
Waste Materials means all waste material suitable for disposal in the appropriate AES’ Equipment (but excluding recyclable materials, organic materials and glass materials) and shall not include hazardous or toxic waste, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance with AES, (including but not limited to: liquid waste, car tyres, paint tins, plasterboard, animals, electrical appliances, batteries, carbon wastes, building materials and florescent bulbs) and produced at the Address and placed in the appropriate Equipment provided for this purpose by or on behalf of AES and destined for disposal.
Waste Materials means all non-hazardous putrescible and non-putrescible solid waste and recyclable materials that are generated by the customer or at customer's service address. Customer is responsible for final disposition of all contents including illegal dumping deposited in roll-offs. Waste materials specifically excludes and the customers agrees not to deposit or permit the deposit or collection of industrial process waste, asbestos containing material, petroleum contaminated soils, radioactive, volatile, corrosive, flammable, explosive, bio-medical, infectious, bio-hazardous, toxic or hazardous waste or material, or toxic substance, as defined by, characterized or listed under federal, state, or local laws or regulations, or Special Waste not approved in writing by the City of McAllen (collectively "excluded materials"). Title to and liability for excluded materials shall remain with the customer at all times. SECTION TWO
Waste Materials means all the Customer’s waste located at the Address other than Excluded Material
Waste Materials means all waste material suitable for disposal in the appropriate BNM RECYCLING’ Equipment (but excluding recyclable materials, organic materials and glass materials) and shall not include hazardous or toxic waste, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance with BNM RECYCLING, (including but not limited to: liquid waste, car tyres, paint tins, plasterboard, animals, electrical appliances, batteries, carbon wastes, building materials and florescent bulbs) and produced at the Address and placed in the appropriate Equipment provided for this purpose by or on behalf of BNM RECYCLING and destined for disposal.
