Termination of Services means Participant’s Termination of Consultancy, Termination of Directorship or Termination of Employment, as applicable.

Cost of Services is FASC’s total Operating Costs incurred in providing the applicable Category of Services during the month to all investment advisers for which FASC provides that Category of Services. “Adviser’s Assets under Management” is the total average assets under management for the month for all Accounts or portions thereof for which the Adviser acts as investment adviser or subadvisor and which utilize the Category of Services.
Level of service has the meaning set forth in Section 2.02(c).
Conditions of Service means the document developed by a distributor in accordance with subsection 2.4 of the Code that describes the operating practices and connection rules for the distributor; (DSC)
STIPULATED HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY means hours of duty per day, normal hours/timings of duty whereof shall be determined by the Company's Engineer for which fixed charge shall be payable.
Sale of services means furnishing or agreeing to furnish services and includes making arrangements to have services furnished by another.
Scope of Services or “Scope of Work” means the work to be performed by the Proposer or Consultant as described in Section 2.0 of this RFP, as amended thereto.
Qualifying services means the provision of any service to the State or to any other public body, except for public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26).
Denial of Service Attack means an attack intended by the perpetrator to overwhelm the capacity of a Computer System by sending an excessive volume of electronic data to such Computer System in order to prevent authorized access to such Computer System.
Unit of service means a half day which shall be up to 5 hours of service per 24-hour period.
Month of Service means a calendar month in which an employee is in receipt of full salary or wages in respect of the prescribed number of working hours in each working day in the month and includes a calendar month in which an employee is absent on special leave without pay not in excess of twenty (20) working days.
Service Period has the meaning given to it in Framework Schedule 4 (Template Order Form and Template Call Off Terms) as refined by a Contracting Body in a Call Off Agreement between that Contracting Body and the Supplier;
Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.
Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.
Continuous Service Status means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee or Consultant. Continuous Service Status as an Employee or Consultant shall not be considered interrupted in the case of: (i) sick leave; (ii) military leave; (iii) any other leave of absence approved by the Administrator, provided that such leave is for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, unless reemployment upon the expiration of such leave is guaranteed by contract or statute, or unless provided otherwise pursuant to Company policy adopted from time to time; or (iv) in the case of transfers between locations of the Company or between the Company, its Parents, Subsidiaries, Affiliates or their respective successors. A change in status from an Employee to a Consultant or from a Consultant to an Employee will not constitute an interruption of Continuous Service Status.
