Contract Work. A. Unless mutually agreed, the County will not contract out or subcontract any work now performed by employees covered by this Agreement when such would result in layoff of any bargaining unit employee(s) and the County is unable to find suitable or comparable alternate employment for the employee(s). However, this provision shall not apply to contracting out or sub-contracting work when such was anticipated and considered as a part of the budgeting process and when the Association Representative has been notified of the specific plan and its probable impact at least thirty (30) days prior to adoption of the annual executive budget or formal Board consideration of budget modifications.
Contract Work. The provision of goods and services identified in the Contract constitute the contract work (Contract Work). Contractor shall perform the Contract Work pursuant to the terms of the Contract. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, appliances, and appurtenances for the Contract Work in strict conformity with this Contract, within the time-period prescribed by the City.
Contract Work. SPECIAL PROJECTS (SECTION D OF COMPENSATION SCHEDULE) This work consists of projects involving a substantial amount of work at a single location but not more than $50,000 in expenditures per project. The projects can include landscape, street, sidewalk, driveway, drainage and/or utility work using both unit price items identified on the compensation schedule and other items with cost to be subject of ‘time & material’ pricing. Timing-scheduling of projects is not known and are anticipated to be performed on an as-needed-availability basis. In addition to these special projects, the City reserves the right to negotiate with the successful bidders additional capital improvement projects of an expanded scope with successful negotiations being subject of contract amendment s with the City Manager having contract authority for executing such contracts with individual amendment not exceeding $50,000.00.
Contract Work. Unless otherwise specifically set forth in the Plans and Specifications or elsewhere in this Contract, the Contractor fully warrants and guarantees its Contract Work for a period of at least one (1) year from the date of Final Completion against any and all defects whether latent or patent in the Contract Work including, without limitation, all Materials and Equipment permanently installed on the Work Site. The Contractor shall promptly repair, replace, rebuild or restore, as the Owner may direct, all defective work and all defective Materials and Equipment during the applicable warranty period and shall pay all costs for all labor and all Materials and Equipment necessary to correct such defects. Upon the Contractor’s failure to promptly repair, replace, rebuild or restore any such defect, the Owner may cause the same to be repaired, replaced, rebuilt or restored at the Contractor’s expense and the Contractor shall promptly pay to the Owner all costs incurred by the Owner in connection therewith.
Contract Work. 13 A. Unless mutually agreed, the County will not contract out or 14 subcontract any work now performed by employees covered by this Agreement 15 when such would result in loss of employment by any bargaining unit 16 employee(s) and the County is unable to find suitable or comparable alternate 17 employment for the employee(s). However, this provision shall not apply to 18 contracting out or subcontracting work such was anticipated and considered as a 19 part of and during budget procedures.
Contract Work. It is agreed that any classified work covering maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery now being done by employees of the Company shall not be contracted out as long as the Company has the necessary equipment and as long as there are qualified men available to do the work.
Contract Work shall be posted in the appropriate District of origin and awarded to the most senior Charter/Tour Driver in the District who signs. A Driver can only be on two (2) Contracts at any one time. A Driver shall be required to operate all trips (save and except relief periods that have been agreed to by the Company) that make up the contract and relinquish all rights to other conflicting interim postings until the completion of contract period. When available, the Driver shall operate from the Tour and Charter Board in their registered District. If a Contract is significant enough to consider Company-wide sign-up, the Company and Union shall meet to discuss the condition of the Contract. Support for the Contract shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Union.
Contract Work. The Union recognizes that the right of contracting or subcontracting work is vested in the City. It is mutually understood and agreed that the City may contract out any or all work on matters related to municipal Park and Recreation Department maintenance operations. It is mutually understood and agreed that if the City exercises its right to contract out park maintenance work, that the exercise of that right by the City shall not result in either the layoff of any employee employed by the City who is a member of the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement nor in a reduction of normal hours of work; wages; holiday time earned; leaves herein agreed to; health and dental insurance benefits; Union rights; and Union security as each of these provisions are herein agreed to. The City agrees to provide the Union shop xxxxxxx with written notice one (1) working day prior to any park maintenance or forestry contract work in excess of $5000. It is understood that this notice implies nothing more than notice to the Union that contract work has been authorized by the City.
Contract Work. During the term of this agreement, the County shall not contract or sub-contract public work now performed by nurses covered under this agreement which would result in the loss of employment of a member of the bargaining unit, provided that such public work is being accomplished in the most efficient and cost- effective manner available to Xxxxxx County.
Contract Work. It is agreed that any work or operation as covered by this Agreement will not be contracted out if the Company has men and equipment available for such work.
