Covered Device definition

Covered Device. : means an electronic device purchased by the Insured as brand new from the manufacturer, a telecommunication network provider or retail store with original warranty from the manufacturer registered under this insurance plan. Electronic device is only eligible for this policy if it is listed on published eligibility list on the Company’s designated online platform at the time of policy issuance. This published eligibility list will be updated from time to time on the Company’s platform. The device made, model, color, capacity and IMEI numbers of the Covered Device are set out in the Policy Schedule.
Covered Device the eligible wireless device owned by You, exclusive of any accessory(ies), owned by You or Replacement Equipment provided by Us with the unique identification number (International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI), Electronic Serial Number (ESN), Mobile Equipment ID (MEID), or Serial Number) that is on record with Us when the wireless device first fails to operate properly. To be considered Covered Device, the wireless device must have logged outgoing access with Your Wireless Service Provider after the request for coverage for the Covered Device and within three (3) days prior to reporting the Covered Device failure.
Covered Device. “Device”: the eligible OnePlus-branded phone that is covered under this Service Contract, not including accessories for which You have purchased the Contract from Us.

Examples of Covered Device in a sentence

  • In the event Your Covered Device is being serviced by an Authorized Service Center when this Agreement cancels or otherwise terminates, service will be provided until the covered repair or replacement has been completed.

  • If the Current Market Value of a Covered Device is paid, coverage ends.

  • Prior notice is not required if the reason for cancellation is 1) nonpayment of the Agreement fee; 2) a material misrepresentation by the Agreement Holder relating to the covered purchased item(s) or its use; or 3) a substantial breach of duties by the Agreement Holder relating to the Covered Device or its use.

  • However, if the Covered Device is modified or repaired in an unauthorized or non-manufacturer recommended manner, We will not automatically suspend all coverage.

  • In no event will Our total liability for repairs or replacement exceed the Current Market Value of Your Covered Device.

To be considered Covered Device, the wireless device must have logged outgoing access with your Wireless Service Provider after the request for coverage for the Covered Device and within three (3) days prior to reporting the Covered Device failure. “Processing Fee” means the amount that You pay toward Your Claim as specified in this Mobile Protection Plan Contract. “Effective Date” means the date You purchased the Plan Contract. “Failure” means Accidental Damage from Handling, or Extended Warranty. “Extended Warranty” means failure of the Covered Device to operate due to faulty part(s) or workmanship when operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions after the expiration of the original equipment manufacturer’s warranty. “Monthly Service Fee” means the fee that You pay each month protection pursuant to the Plan. “Plan” or “Program” refers to the specific service warranty or extended warranty. “Program Guide” refers to the documents You received from the Seller summarizing the coverages provided, enrollment limitations, program requirements, equipment, fees, processing fees, service fees or other charges or material terms. For any conflict between a Program Guide and this Agreement, this Agreement controls. “Pollutants” mean any solid, liquid, gaseous or thermal irritant or contaminant, including smoke, vapor, soot, fumes, acids, alkalis, chemicals and waste. Waste includes materials to be recycled, reconditioned or reclaimed. “Replacement Equipment” means a wireless device of the same make, storage and model (but not necessarily color), or if the same make, storage and model is not available, the replacement equipment will be a different model of similar feature, functionality and fair market price to the Covered Device at the time of the Claim (but may not be the same brand or model), with the same operating system and will not be a model that is older than the Covered Device, which We provide to You in the event of a Failure of the Covered Device. Covered Device means any desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet, handheld or mobile device, telephone, or other electronic product or device developed by respondent or any corporation, subsidiary, division, or affiliate owned or controlled by respondent that has a platform on which to download, install, or run any software program, code, script, or other content and to play any digital audio, visual, or audiovisual content.
Covered Device means any device for which payment is available under subchapter XVIII of chapter 7 of Title 42 of the United States Code or the state Medicaid plan under subchapter XIX or XXI of said chapter or a waiver of such a plan.

Covered Device means (a) any computing device sold by any Respondent that operates using an operating system, including smartphone, tablet, wearable, sensor, or any periphery of any portable computing device; and (b) the software used to access, operate, manage, or configure a device subject to part (a) of this definition, including, but not limited to, the firmware, web or mobile applications, and any related online services, that are advertised, developed, branded, or sold by any Respondent, directly or indirectly.
