Workforce Housing Clause Samples
Workforce Housing. The Developer as a measure to promote the ownership or occupancy of workforce housing opportunities within the City agrees to the terms as oulined in Exhibit S.
Workforce Housing. Housing affordable to natural persons or families whose total annual household income does not exceed 140 percent of the area median income for Palm Beach County, adjusted for household size. It is a program to increase housing opportunities for people employed in Palm Beach County jobs to purchase housing at below market prices.
Workforce Housing. In addition to the affordable, or inclusionary, housing to be included as a component of the Project, Owner shall endeavor to develop some “workforce housing” as part of the residential component of the Project, “workforce housing” being that which targets households with incomes between 80% to 120% of the median income for the Burlington/South Burlington MSA, adjusted for household size, and it being understood that these voluntary efforts on the part of the Owner shall create no new legal obligation to create or maintain such housing.
Workforce Housing. The Parties agree to the following for workforce housing funded exclusively with Measure U funds:
2.1. Fifty percent (50%) of the workforce housing units funded exclusively by Measure U will be designated specifically for SDEA Unit Members.
Workforce Housing. The Mayor and City Council will continue to review the workforce housing needs of City employees and make policy adjustments as necessary. They will also work cooperatively with other entities to address the workforce housing needs of the City’s businesses and residents.
Workforce Housing. The Agency shall cooperate in good faith with State Parks to provide opportunities, at purchase prices or rental charges established under the Below-Market Rate Housing Plan that is attached to and a part of the DDA (the “Housing Plan”) and subject to applicable fair housing laws, for up to eleven (11) Workforce Units (as defined in the Housing Plan) in the Candlestick Site to income-eligible employees of State Parks working in the CPSRA.
Workforce Housing. To the extent possible, both parties will work cooperatively to endeavor to utilize the property at ▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ to address workforce housing for firefighters and storage of firefighting equipment and apparatus. Nothing herein, however, should be interpreted to constrain City Council(s) from directing an alternate use of such City asset or making a different budgetary, fiscal or operational decision.
Workforce Housing. Developer will contribute a total of $[75,000] per year for [10] years to the City to support workforce housing and fund the construction and maintenance of city recreational amenities.
Workforce Housing. A total of 82 units throughout the project (collectively, the “Workforce Units”) shall be identified from time to time and subject to the following affordability and workforce housing program. As further described below, the 82 Workforce Units shall include a combination of “80% AMI Restriction” units, “LIHTC Restriction” units, and the “Fire District Unit” (each as defined below).
a. 80% AMI Restriction. Initially, 47 units shall be rent-restricted to individuals making no more than eighty percent (80%) of average median income (“AMI”) for Valley County, Idaho for the size of the household in question, as published from time to time by the Idaho Housing Finance Association, Inc. (“IHFA”) or any successor to IHFA responsible for administration of Housing Tax Credits under the 1986 Tax Reform Act.
Workforce Housing. Improve the amount and diversity of workforce housing by offering design and policy resources to the region’s communities to help them address the region’s critical shortage of housing at price points for middle income families. GOAL 5: REAL ESTATE, LAND USE AND SUSTAINABILITY Assist and support communities in developing and devising local land use policies and regulations that encourage effective and sustainable development, conducive to a livable region.
