Work on General Holiday. In the event an employee works on a General Holiday, and qualifies for holiday pay under Article 5.02, he/she shall be paid time and one-half (1 ½ x) his/her regular hourly rate for all hours worked during that day and in addition have the average number of hours (excluding overtime) worked per shift during the previous two (2) pay periods, or that number of hours (excluding overtime) worked on the General Holiday, whichever is greater, accrued as banked dollars. The rate to be used, when calculating the value of the average number of hours as set out above, will be that of the classification worked in the majority of the shifts during the previous two (2) pay periods.

Work on General Holiday not eligible Employees who are not otherwise eligible for holiday pay, when required to work on a general holiday shall be paid at the rate of time and one half (1½) their regular hourly rate for all hours so worked on the general holiday.
Work on General Holiday. If an employee is required to work on any of the specified general holidays, he shall be paid one and one-half (1½) times his regular hourly rate for all hours worked on the general holiday, up to a maximum of ten (10) hours, and double time thereafter. The Company shall also provide the employee with an alternate day off with pay (hour per hour) within the thirty (30) calendar days following the general holiday, on a day that falls immediately before or after his normal days off.

  • Personal Holidays An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal holiday during each calendar year if the employee has been continuously employed by the State of Washington for more than four (4) months.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday 13.2.1 When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.
