Additional Holidays definition

Additional Holidays. Any other day appointed by the President or the 19 Governor of this state pursuant to subdivisions (b) and (c) of Section 20 37220 of the California Education Code for a public fast, thanksgiving or 23 9.2 The above holidays shall be observed according to the District calendar. 24 9.3 To be entitled to any of the above paid holidays, a unit member must be in a paid 25 status during any portion of the working day immediately preceding or succeeding the 26 holiday period.
