UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DEDUCTION OF UNION DUES. 5.01 All employees hired or rehired on or after the date of ratification of this Agreement shall, as a condition of employment, apply for membership in the Union within ten (10) calendar days from the date of hire or rehire and once membership is granted by the Union, such employees shall continue to be members of the Union for the duration of this Agreement.

UNION MEMBERSHIP AND DEDUCTION OF UNION DUES. 3.01 (a) In the month following the month of hire, the Employer shall deduct once each month from the pay of each employee the amount equal to his regular monthly Union dues. Such monthly dues are uniformly levied upon all members of the Union in accordance with its constitution and by-laws. The amount of such dues shall be certified to the Employer by the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union. The dues so deducted shall be turned over by the Employer to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union within fifteen (15) days after deduction is made and before the end of the current month for which deduction was made.
