TRANSFERS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS. Employees may request a transfer to a position under another Appointing Authority by submitting such request in writing to the Human Resource Office of the Appointing Authority to which they wish to transfer. Employees who have transferred to a position under another Appointing Authority shall have a trial period of twenty-one (21) calendar days for the purpose of evaluation. During this trial period the employee may elect to return to the former position.

TRANSFERS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS. Part-time Clerk Trainees who have worked in excess of one (1) year’s service in a department may be granted a transfer to another Food Department where there is a vacancy. The Employer will be fair and reasonable in considering requests for a transfer. Requests shall be considered on the basis of seniority provided the merit, fitness and ability are relatively equal among employees requesting a transfer. An employee will be limited to one (1) transfer per life of the current collective agreement. Employees granted a transfer will be on probation for a period of up to three hundred (300) hours to demonstrate their ability to perform the work in satisfactory manner. In the event they are unable to perform satisfactory in the new position, they shall be returned to their previous position. Employees granted a transfer will maintain their wage rate, class hours, and seniority hours. In no event will the employee’s wage rate be reduced. There may be occasions where the (1) one year service required may be waived at the discretion of the Employer should it suit the needs of the business.
TRANSFERS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS. Employees transferring between departments covered by this Agreement shall have their pay adjusted up or down, as the case may be, based on the difference in the start rates between the employee’s former and new classification.
TRANSFERS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS. Teachers may transfer to another department area for which they are licensed and qualified. Teachers may not transfer, however, into a licensure area if their transfer would result in more teachers in the department than positions.

  • VACANCIES, PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS A. The Board recognizes that it is desirable in making assignments to consider the interests and aspirations of its teachers. Requests by a teacher for transfer to a different class, building or position shall be made in writing, one copy of which shall be filed with the Superintendent and one copy shall be filed with the Association.
