Superintendent Conference Days. Effective July 1, 2009, the District will provide training/staff development to bargaining unit members on two (2) Superintendent Conference Days during the school year. Bargaining unit members shall be paid their regular hourly wage for their attendance.

Superintendent Conference Days a. All unit members are expected to attend Superintendent’s Conference Days unless notified in writing by their immediate supervisors. It is agreed that these are paid workdays whether the employee attends the scheduled conferences or works in their regular capacity.
Superintendent Conference Days. 19:1. Subject to Board of Education approval the Administrator may establish and set aside up to six (6) days for orientation, curriculum planning, conferences concerning students, and /or workshops. The dates will be determined after consultation with teachers by the Administrator. All teachers must be present on such days unless specifically excused by the Administrator, or on leave of absence, and it is understood that teachers shall make themselves available for additional conferences with parents as needed at mutually agreed upon times.
Superintendent Conference Days. Up to four (4) days in each year will be set aside in the school calendar as student non-contact time. Additional days or half-days within the established school calendar may be designated as Superintendent Conference Days by the Superintendent of Schools with Board of Education approval. The agenda for these days shall be developed in collaboration with representatives of the Association. These days shall be used for professional development, parent conferences or other professional purposes as permitted by law.

  • Labor Management Conferences The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Such meetings shall be scheduled within one week of either party submitting an agenda to the other, or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties, and shall be limited to:

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.

  • JOINT CONFERENCE BOARD (a) A Joint Conference Board shall be formed which will be composed of the Board of Directors of the Boilermaker Contractors' Association of British Columbia, and Members of Local Lodge 359 as appointed by the Business Manager. The Joint Conference Board shall meet at least once during each calendar year or more periodically upon request.

  • SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL All supervisors and foremen shall be excluded from the bargaining unit and will not perform any work which falls within the scope of this Agreement. When supervisors and foremen are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted and maintained on a bulletin board.

  • Conference Leave Upon written request, supported by a copy of an invitation, an employee shall be granted leave paid at full salary of up to two thirty-fifths of her Appointment Contract(s) to present papers at academic conferences. Such leave shall not be claimed if an authorized exchange of services agreeable to the employee can be arranged.

  • Parent Conferences A. 1. Elementary and exceptional education schools shall be dismissed early a minimum of four (4) half days during the school year to grant teachers time for parent-teacher conferences.

  • Informal Conference Prior to the filing of a grievance, in an effort to resolve the issue(s), the grievant shall make reasonable attempts to initiate / discuss or an attempt to initiate / discuss the issue(s) informally with the grievant’s Principal or Supervisor.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE Section 1. Upon written request by either Party, a pre-job conference will be held prior to the time the Employees of such Employer begin work on the project.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Contact Hours The contact hour load for an eLearning course or section shall be equivalent to that for a face-to-face course.
