Subpoena to Court. Time spent on a scheduled working day by an employee required to serve as a juror or subpoenaed as a witness shall be considered as time worked at the appropriate rate of pay, less any payment. PAY ADMINISTRATION The rates of pay as established in Appendix "A" of this Agreement shall be the rates paid to the employees covered by the Agreement.   • Jury Duty and Court Appearance 11.4.1 When summoned to serve on a jury; when subpoenaed as a witness in criminal proceedings, or as a witness in a civil action if not a party thereto; when appearing as a defendant in a criminal or traffic case if acquitted therefrom; the employee, to qualify for permission from the Xxxx/delegate to be absent with pay, shall produce the summons or subpoena or submit such other evidence showing the necessity for court appearance.

  • Court Witness Nurses who are subpoenaed or requested by the Medical Center to appear as a witness in a court case during their normal time off duty will be compensated for the time spent in connection with such an appearance in accordance with the applicable rate of pay.
