SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS AGREEMENT. 1. The Parties to this Agreement acknowledge and agree that as of Effective Date of this Agreement the Budget of the Program is not approved by the Global Fund. The Parties agree that prior to fulfillment of conditions listed in Section B.1.a of the Agreement, and the approval of the Budget and the Work Plan, the Principal Recipient is authorized to make payment for the expenditures covered under the first disbursement.

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS AGREEMENT. 1. The Government of the Republic of Benin shall contribute an amount of up to €1,635,572 (one million, six hundred thirty-five thousand, five hundred and seventy-two Euros) representing: (i) the salaries and other human resources costs related to the recruitment of a maximum of 38 doctors for the 19 health zones covered by the Global Fund for 18 months (up to €1,564,126)1; and (ii) the Principal Recipient’s running costs for 24 months (up to €71,446)2. The amount of the contribution is set as a maximum amount because the actual number of doctors to be recruited will be determined after an assessment conducted by the Principal Recipient to identify which of the 19 health zones would require zonal doctors. This assessment should be completed no later than 2 months after the Grant start date and the health zones requiring doctors filled no later than 6 months after the Grant start date.
SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS AGREEMENT. 1. The Parties to this Agreement acknowledge and agree that the Principal Recipient shall provide copy of the agreements with the Sub-recipients, including detailed budgets and work plans, upon request from the Global Fund.
SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THIS AGREEMENT. 1. The disbursement of funds for assets that are similar to those procured by the previous Principal Recipient is subject to the delivery by the Principal Recipient to the Global Fund of evidence, in form and substance satisfactory to the Global Fund, that such assets have been transferred from the previous Principal Recipient and a need assessment has been conducted by the Principal Recipient under this Agreement after such transfer. If such assessment confirms that the needs of the new Principal Recipient are sufficiently met as a result of the transfer, the funds provisionally budgeted for such assets shall be excluded from the budget and dealt with in the sole discretion of the Global Fund.

The Principal Recipient shall maintain the capacity and the level of staffing reached through the fulfillment of the conditions B.1 (c) and B.2 (g) of this Annex A through the Program’s implementation period, unless otherwise agreed with the Global Fund.

The Principal Recipient shall cooperate with the relevant office of the GLC in the GLC’s efforts to provide support to the Principal Recipient with respect to the implementation, management and monitoring of the MDR-TB-related services provided in-country and any needed scale-up of such services. Accordingly, the Principal Recipient shall budget and authorize the Global Fund to disburse up to a maximum of US$ 50,000, or a lower amount as agreed with GLC and the Global Fund, each year to pay for GLC services.
