Special or Compassionate Leave. 23.3.1 The Employer may grant an employee a leave of absence with pay for not more than three (3) days in a year for special or compassionate purposes.

The Corporation will entertain a written request for a leave of absence. Requests related to special or compassionate leave will be administered in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, the Employment Insurance Act or any other applicable legislation.
