Deputy Minister. The Deputy Minister is accountable to the Minister for the performance of the Ministry, in providing administrative support to SJTO and for carrying out the roles and responsibilities assigned to him or her by the Minister, the PSOA, applicable TB/MBC and MOF directives, and this MOU. The Deputy Minister xxxx xxxxxxx, annually, with the Executive Chair and the Executive Lead in the development of the Executive Lead's performance management plan and will seek the Executive Chair's advice on the annual performance evaluation of the Executive Lead.

Deputy Minister. 3.2.1 The Deputy Minister is accountable to the Minister for the performance of the MOHLTC in respect of this MOU and for carrying out the roles and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the Minister and by MBC Directives, and this MOU. The Deputy Minister is accountable for advising the Minister about matters pertaining to the Network and for assisting the Minister in meeting his or her responsibilities related to the Network.

The Commission The Commission, through the Chair, is responsible for the governance of the Commission and overseeing the management of the Commission’s business and affairs as prescribed by the Act. The Commission guides the strategic direction, evaluates the performance of the Chief Executive Officer, approves and monitors the Commission’s business plan, operational plan and financial results, and is ultimately accountable to the Minister through the Chair. The Commission is responsible for the following: administering the province’s financial and consumer services legislation; ensuring the provision of high-quality regulatory services that protect the public interest and enhance public confidence in the regulated sectors; and complying with all legislation under which they have responsibilities.
