General Wage Increases. Wage rates for all employees covered by the Community Bargaining Association collective agreement will increase starting the first pay period after the following dates and at the respective rates: Year 1: April 1, 2022: Increase rates of pay by an average of 4.24%. • The average increase of 4.24% consists of a 25¢ per hour increase and then a 3.24% general wage increase (GWI) to be applied across all rates of pay. Year 2: April 1, 2023: Increase rates of pay by 5.5%. • An additional GWI of up to 1.25% in accordance with the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) MOA. Year 3: April 1, 2024: Increase rates of pay by 2%. • An additional GWI of up to 1% in accordance with the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) MOA.
General Wage Increases. The Employer and the Union agree that the new Collective Agreement shall reflect wage adjustments as follows:
(a) Effective 2022 January 01, all hourly rates of pay that were in effect on 2021 December 31st shall be increased by three percent (3.00%). The new hourly rates shall be rounded to the nearest whole cent.
(b) Effective 2023 January 01, all hourly rates of pay that were in effect on 2022 December 31st shall be increased by four and one-half percent (4.50%). The new hourly rates shall be rounded to the nearest whole cent.
(c) Effective 2024 January 01, all hourly rates of pay that were in effect on 2023 December 31st shall be increased by four percent (4.00%). The new hourly rates shall be rounded to the nearest whole cent.
(d) Retroactive payments arising from (a), (b) and (c) will be made as soon as possible following the date of ratification of this Memorandum of Agreement.
General Wage Increases. (i) April 1, 2001 – Two percent (2.0%).
(ii) April 1, 2002 – Two percent (2.0%).
(iii) April 1, 2003 – the greater of one point five percent (1.5%), or an adjustment equal to 1% of the wage rate for each 1% increase in the Consumer Price Index for the twelve (12) month period preceding the date of the adjustment (i.e., February 2002 to February 2003) shall be added to and form part of the wage rates. The adjustment shall be prorated for increases in the Consumer Price Index of less than 1%. Should the Consumer Price Index in its present form and on the same basis as the Consumer Price Index Base become unavailable, the Parties shall negotiate an alternative formula. If agreement is not reached, the Parties shall request Statistics Canada to provide the appropriate conversion or adjustment which shall be applicable as of the appropriate adjustment date. In the event Statistics Canada does not issue the Consumer Price Index before the applicable adjustment date, any adjustment required will be made retroactive to the applicable adjustment date. No adjustment shall be made because of any revision which may later be made in the published Consumer Price Index. If the Consumer Price Index falls below the Consumer Price Index Base, there shall be no adjustment.
General Wage Increases. Effective and retroactive to July 1, 2021, the annual base salary shall be increased by 2.5% for all active employees. 2.5% shall be extended and retroactive to employees who retired and terminated/separated in good standing with 10 years or more of state service on or after 07/01/2021.
