Single Audit Act Compliance Clause Samples

The Single Audit Act Compliance clause requires entities that receive federal funds to adhere to the audit requirements set forth by the Single Audit Act. This typically means that organizations expending a certain threshold of federal assistance in a fiscal year must undergo an annual audit of their financial statements and federal awards, often conducted by an independent auditor. The core function of this clause is to ensure accountability and transparency in the use of federal funds, helping to detect and prevent misuse or mismanagement of government resources.
