Contractor and its Subcontractors Sample Clauses

Contractor and its Subcontractors shall keep informed of the progress and the details of work of other Con Edison contractors at the Work site (and of Con Edison or O&R) and shall notify Con Edison (or O&R, for Work ordered by O&R) immediately of lack of progress or defective workmanship on the part of any of them (or of Con Edison or O&R). Failure by Contractor to keep informed of other work in progress at the site or to give notice of lack of progress or defective workmanship by others shall be deemed an acceptance by Contractor of such other work insofar as it relates to or affects its own Work.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers. A Contractor’s “Representative” is also broadly defined to include any subcontractors, employees, agents, or anyone else who acts on a Contractor’s behalf.

  • Subcontractors The Contractor will not subcontract any work under the Contract without prior written consent of the Department. The Contractor is fully responsible for satisfactory completion of all its subcontracted work. The Department supports diversity in its procurements and contracts, and requests that the Contractor offer subcontracting opportunities to certified woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses. The Contractor may contact the OSD at xxxxxxx@xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx for information on certified small business enterprises available for subcontracting opportunities.

  • SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS The Commissioner reserves the right to reject any proposed Subcontractor or supplier for bona fide business reasons, including, but not limited to: the company failed to solicit New York State certified minority- and women-owned business enterprises as required in prior OGS Contracts; the fact that such Subcontractor or supplier is on the New York State Department of Labor’s list of companies with which New York State cannot do business; the Commissioner’s determination that the company is not qualified or is not responsible; or the fact that the company has previously provided unsatisfactory work or services.

  • Agents and Subcontractors Business Associate agrees to ensure that any agent, including a subcontractor, to whom it provides PHI received from, or created or received by the Business Associate on behalf of, a Covered Entity, agrees to the same restrictions and conditions that apply through this Agreement to the Business Associate with respect to PHI.
