In addition, this fund will be used to maintain the Local’s fitness center for its member’s and their families, a scholarship fund, a community service (donations) fund and a substance abuse fund.

REPRESENTATION FUND. 32.01 The Company will pay monthly into a special fund one cent ($0.01) per hour per employee for all compensated hours to the Local Union for the purpose of representation in areas of W.S.I.B., E.I., C.P.P., disability and health and welfare benefits. Effective May 10, 2008 this amount will be increased to two cents ($0.02) per hour.

REPRESENTATION FUND. The Company agrees to pay the Local Union the amount of one thousand ($1,000.00) upon the annual anniversary of the Collective Agreement, a contribution towards the Representation Fund for the purpose of representation in areas of W.S.I.B., E.I., C.P.P. disability and health and welfare benefits. In addition, this fund will be for the purpose of a community services (donations) fund, for a substance abuse fund and for a scholarship fund for the children of our members.
REPRESENTATION FUND. The Company agrees to deduct the sum of one half (½) hour per year as dues to the Unifor Skilled Trades Council, from employees hired, rehired, reinstated or transferred to a Skilled Trades classification. Such deduction shall be made at the same time as regular Union Dues and thereafter on an annual basis in the month of January. These deductions, along with the names of the employees shall be remitted to the Financial Secretary of the Local Union. LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #4 – RE: TRANSMISSION WORK During negotiations discussion occurred on training for our Technicians. Both parties recognize the mutual benefits of continuing service to our customers in a high quality and efficient manner. As a result, of these discussions the Company agreed to post for Technicians who are interested in a transmission training and trial period of ten (10) units per Technician. This will be posted within sixty (60) days of ratification. The trial period will begin with the highest seniority employee of those who applied. After such period, the employee must demonstrate their ability to perform the work available within the times of the FCA flat rate manual. Special solutions or circumstances that may arise will be resolved through a meeting with the President of the Company, the Unifor National Representative and the Chairperson.   • Representation Fee A. If an employee does not become a member of the Association during any membership year which is covered in whole or in part by this Agreement, said employee will be required to pay a representation fee to the Association for that membership year. The purpose of this fee will be to offset the employee's per capita cost of services rendered by the Association as majority representative.
