Heat Stress Program. 1) The Company agrees that the practices utilized during the hot weather to prevent heat stress will be in place from May 1st through September 30th. 2) Relief and other measures will be provided in accordance with the Heat/Stress Awareness Guide under Section 25(2)(h) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Parties agree to follow Humidex 2 Guideline. 3) Heat breaks are not to be used in conjunction with normal schedules. Heat breaks will be given independently from regularly scheduled breaks. 4) Plant humidex readings will be approximated through use of a Tdb and Twb thermometers. The Company agrees to arrange a meeting between the parties or Unifor Local 195 to further discuss heat stress if deemed necessary. 5) The Company agrees to make this information available to all employees by posting a notice to include Humidex 2 Guideline and in conjunction with a safety talk on the subject of Heat Stress. 6) The plan and its content will be reviewed annually and updated as required. Following ratification of the Collective Agreement, the Company and the Union will meet to discuss the appropriate location to place the Humidex monitoring equipment and location of fans to assist with heat relief.
Heat Stress Program. During the negotiations there was a request for a Heat Stress Program for the plant.   • Wellness Program Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent a department or agency from recommending experimental “fitness” type programs and reward programs involving wellness promotion activities. Any such activities shall be funded from the department’s separate appropriation, after review by the Benefits Advisory Committee and approval by the Secretary of Administration, or designee.

  • Quality Control Program Engineer shall have a quality control program in place that ensures that all deliverable work is of high quality. Engineer shall submit a plan detailing its program to the Inspection Branch of the TxDOT Bridge Division for review and approval prior to beginning work. State may review or audit the programs.

  • STATEWIDE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM If the maximum amount payable to Contractor under this Contract is $100,000 or greater, either on the Effective Date or at any time thereafter, this section shall apply.   • Dark Fiber Transport Dark Fiber Transport is defined as Dedicated Transport that consists of unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics. Except as set forth in Section 6.9.1 below, BellSouth shall not be required to provide access to Dark Fiber Transport Entrance Facilities pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
