Public holidays - penalty rates. 7.16.5.1 Double time and a half shall be the rate for all work done on New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. In the event of any such request, the Company shall endeavour to provide any affected employee at least four (4) weeks’ notice of such requirement. However, it is accepted that less notice, which may be as little as 24 hours prior, may also occur.
