Pregnancy Leave Benefit Level. It is understood that for the duration of the pregnancy leave, which will not exceed 17 weeks, the combined weekly level of Employment Insurance benefit, SUB payments and other earnings will not exceed 93% of the member's normal weekly earnings. In accordance with the SUB Plan requirements, for the first two weeks of the leave, the employee shall receive 93% of her salary from the University. For the next 15 weeks she shall receive payment(s) equal to the difference between the sum of the weekly Employment Insurance benefits and any other earnings received by the employee and the 93% of the actual salary which she was receiving on the last day worked prior to the commencement of the pregnancy leave.

For the first 2 weeks of the leave, the employee shall receive ninety-three percent (93%) of her salary from the University. For the next fifteen (15) weeks she shall receive payment(s) equal to the difference between the sum of the weekly Employment Insurance benefits and any other earnings received by the employee and the ninety-three percent (93%) of the actual salary which she was receiving on the last day worked prior to the commencement of the pregnancy leave.

  • Benefit Level The primary care clinics available through each plan administrator are assigned a Benefit Level. The Benefit Levels are outlined in the benefit chart below. Primary care clinics may be in different Benefit Levels for different plan administrators. Family members may be enrolled in clinics that are in different Benefits Levels.
