The Pregnancy Leave Policy applies to pregnant members of the bargaining unit.
Eligibility for the Pregnancy Leave Policy requires full-time continuous employment at the University of Windsor for at least the thirteen (13) weeks preceding the date of the birth.
In the case of still-birth or miscarriage a mother has the right to 6 weeks of Pregnancy Leave after the birth or miscarriage to allow her to recover from the birth.
