Passcodes. (a) Licensee will designate a person authorized to determine and change the level of each Authorized User’s access to the Licensed Product and designated to ensure that Licensee complies with this Agreement. No Authorized User may access the Licensed Product using any Passcode other than the Passcodes assigned to such Authorized User. No Authorized User may share his assigned Passcodes with any other person nor allow any other person to use or have access to his Passcodes. During the term of this Agreement, Licensee will promptly notify CoStar of any Authorized User’s change of employment or contractor status with Licensee, including termination of an Authorized User’s employment or contractual service with Licensee, and upon such termination Licensee shall cease using and destroy the Passcodes for such Authorized User. No Authorized User who ceases to be an employee or Exclusive Contractor of Licensee may use any Passcodes in any manner. (b) Each Authorized User’s access to the Licensed Product may be limited to a designated computer and requires the Authorized User to access the Licensed Product solely using the Passcodes and, if required by CoStar, Passcodes with two-factor authentication, including, but not limited to, facial recognition authentication. CoStar is under no obligation to confirm the actual identity or authority of any party accessing the Licensed Product under your Passcode or other authentication method.

Passcodes. In the event that a Permitted User’s access to Software or GLN Services requires the Permitted User to use Passcodes, then Descartes shall issue such Passcodes to a designated employee of Customer (an “Administrative User”) and/or authorize such Administrative User to issue or create Passcodes for Permitted Users. The Administrative User shall be responsible for managing and distributing the Passcodes to Permitted Users. The Administrative User shall only provide the Passcodes to Permitted Users. Customer acknowledges that Descartes relies solely on the ability of Permitted Users to enter the correct Passcodes to validate that such person has the authority to use the Software or GLN Services. Customer shall be solely responsible and liable for issuing, administering and ensuring that proper security methods are in effect with respect to protection of each of the Passcodes provided to Permitted Users and, therefore, Customer shall be responsible for all actions through the Software and/or GLN Services that occur through access to or Use of the Software and/or GLN Services using Passcodes issued through Customer’s Administrative User.
Passcodes. The MDM requires that iPads be secured with a passcode at all times. Students are advised not to share their passcode with other students; however, upon the request of a faculty member, the student must enter their passcode so a faculty member can access the iPad.
Passcodes. You will not permit anyone else to use your user names, passcodes or other authentication devices required for access to the Service ("Security Information"). You understand that you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Security Information. You agree that you will not disclose your Security Information to any third party, including your Authorized Person. You understand that you are responsible for all acts and omissions relating to the use of the Service, including all orders entered through the Service using your Security Information. You agree to change your Security Information regularly and to keep it confidential. If there is more than one account holder, each account holder agrees to be jointly and severally liable for all obligations arising under this Agreement or otherwise relating to the account or participation in the Service, including responsibility for any user names and passcodes associated with the account, regardless of which account holder gives such instructions or changes such Passcode. Each account holder has full authority, acting individually and without notice to any other account holder to deal with us as fully and completely as if such account holder were the sole account holder. Each account holder authorizes us to follow the instructions of any one account holder concerning any matter pertaining to the account. This includes delivery of property in the account to any third party or disbursement of any or all monies in the account. We are not responsible for determining the purpose or propriety of any instruction received from any account holder as against any account holder or of any payments or deliveries of securities of other property between or among account holders. At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to require written instructions from one or all account holders. If we receive instructions from any account holder that, in our opinion, conflict with instructions received from any other account holder, we may comply with any of these instructions or advise each account holder of the apparent conflict and take no action as the any of these instructions until we actually receive and have a reasonable amount of time to act on satisfactory instructions from all of the account holders.
Passcodes. All iPads must be secured with a passcode at all times. Students are not to share their passcode with other students. Upon request of a faculty member, the student must enter their passcode so a faculty member can access their iPad.
Passcodes. In the event that a Permitted User’s access to TrackX Software requires the Permitted User to use Passcodes, then TrackX shall issue such Passcodes to a designated employee or agent of Customer (an “Administrative User”) and/or authorize such Administrative User to issue or create Passcodes for Permitted Users. Customer shall be solely responsible and liable for issuing, administering and ensuring that proper security methods are in effect with respect to protection of each of the Passcodes provided to Permitted Users and, therefore, Customer shall be responsible for all actions through the TrackX Software that occur through access to or Use of the TrackX Software using Passcodes issued through by your Administrative User.

  • Passwords Passwords are an important aspect of computer security. A poorly chosen password may result in unauthorized access and/or exploitation of Placer County’s resources. All users, including contractors and vendors with access to the County’s systems, are responsible for the creation and protection of passwords and additionally any updates to County Password policies must be followed. Users must not use the same password for Placer County accounts and personal accounts. The reliability of passwords for maintaining confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. Always assume that someone, in addition to the intended or designated recipient, may read any and all messages and files. Any user suspecting that his/her password may have been compromised must, without delay, report the incident to Placer County IT.

  • Data Encryption Contractor must encrypt all State data at rest and in transit, in compliance with FIPS Publication 140-2 or applicable law, regulation or rule, whichever is a higher standard. All encryption keys must be unique to State data. Contractor will secure and protect all encryption keys to State data. Encryption keys to State data will only be accessed by Contractor as necessary for performance of this Contract.

  • Password To enable you, and only you, to use the Service, you will be asked to choose a password when you register and are accepted as a customer of the Service. This password is stored in encrypted form by us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Financial Institution customer number and password. No one at Financial Institution has access to your Accounts passwords or user ID's. You are responsible for uses of the Service whether or not actually or expressly authorized by you. Therefore, it is important that you DO NOT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER OR PASSWORD WITH ANYONE FOR ANY REASON. No one at Financial Institution will know or need to know your password, and Financial Institution employees will never ask for your password. If you wish to make a transfer to an Account of another person, you will be asked to provide a separate code word or phrase (the "Shared Secret") that is known only to you and to the person to whom you are transferring the funds (the "Recipient"). We recommend that you do not use commonly used words, phrases or dates. In order to complete the transfer, the Recipient must provide the Shared Secret and certain other identifying information. YOU AGREE THAT YOU WILL NOT GIVE THE SHARED SECRET TO ANYONE EXCEPT THE RECIPIENT FOR ANY REASON. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT YOU WILL INSTRUCT THE RECIPIENT NOT TO GIVE THE SHARED SECRET TO ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY REASON. In the Event of Unauthorized Transfer If you believe your password or Shared Secret has been lost or stolen, or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your Account without your permission, contact us using the instructions on our site. Consumer Liability You agree to notify us AT ONCE if you believe your password has been lost or stolen. Telephoning us promptly is the best way to protect yourself from possible losses. If you never tell us, you could lose all of the money in your account (plus your maximum overdraft line of credit). However, if you tell us within 2 business days, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your password without your permission. If you do NOT tell us within 2 business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your password, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your password without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500. You can see a complete statement of all your funds transfers effected or pending at any time by clicking on the History tab. If your statement shows transfers that you did not make, notify us AT ONCE. If you do not tell us within 60 days after the transfer was posted to your statement, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days, if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods.

  • Password Security You are responsible for maintaining adequate security and control of any and all User IDs, Passwords, hints, personal identification numbers (PINs), or any other codes that you use to access the Account. Do not discuss, compare, or share information about your account number or password unless you are willing to give them full use of your money. Any loss or compromise of the foregoing information and/or your personal information may result in unauthorized access to your Account by third-parties and the loss or theft of any funds held in your Account and any associated accounts, including your Account. Checks and electronic withdrawals are processed by automated methods, and anyone who obtains your account number or access device could use it to withdraw money from your account, with or without your permission. You are responsible for keeping your email address and telephone number up to date in order to receive any notices or alerts that we may send you. We assume no responsibility for any loss that you may sustain due to compromise of your account login credentials due to no fault of ours and/or your failure to follow or act on any notices or alerts that we may send to you. If you believe your Account information has been compromised, or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without your permission, contact us immediately, through Synapse, at xxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx or call at +0(000) 000-0000. You agree to promptly review all Account and transaction records and other Communications that we make available to you and to promptly report any discrepancy to us.

  • Encryption The Fund acknowledges and agrees that encryption may not be available for every communication through the System, or for all data. The Fund agrees that Custodian may deactivate any encryption features at any time, without notice or liability to the Fund, for the purpose of maintaining, repairing or troubleshooting the System or the Software.
